Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

A typical day in Pre-K is full of learning and fun! Children this age are like sponges, eager and excited to learn. Students spend the day singing, playing, learning letters and numbers and building confidence.

There are two sessions of Pre-K, an AM class and a PM class.

The classroom is an inclusion class which means it has 1/2 of students with special needs and 1/2 of students who are typically developing. The school is inner city with many children living in poverty.

My Project

Students spend much of their day collaboration together during circle time. Students need a carpet to do morning meeting, read aloud and collaborative learning. Right now students sit on the tile floor. With a new A Place for Everyone Circle Time Carpet my students will have a comfortable environment to learn and flourish.

Donations will improve my classroom tremendously!

A carpet is essential for learning because students need to have a place to meet and collaborate during the day. Having this new A Place for Everyone Circle Time carpet for read aloud and morning meeting will improve the classroom immensely.
