This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The children in my classroom are between the ages of 3-5 years and are eager to learn about the world around them. For this academic year, my preschoolers must focus on their literacy skills through stories, songs, and writing in workbooks at home. I need Scholastic Alphabet books to teach children the writing and literacy skills needed for Kindergarten.

When children learn to write letters/squiggles, create shapes, and draw, this is known as "early writing." Early writing is critical for the foundation of a preschooler’s future literacy and overall language mastery.

Children must be prepared for Kindergarten through Literacy, Writing, and Motor activities. Purchasing these Scholastic Writing Books will help prepare preschool children for Kindergarten.
