This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach in a full day public preschool classroom. My 4 year old students like to interact, talk, stay active, and learn!

I love to see their excitement when they come to school, play with their friends and engage in learning.

It's very special to see how they are creative, adventurous, and curious.

My students enjoy hands on activities. Their two favorite activities are building and using technology. They are overjoyed when we visit the technology lab once a week!

My Project

My students are growing up in a world driven by technology, therefore, engaging with technology is important! An iPad will give my preschoolers a new device to explore and support them academically, too.

An iPad will reinforce skills and concepts I am teaching in my preschool class.

For example, after a musical lesson, my students will use an app where they play with various instruments and also develop language by learning the names of these instruments. My students will use math games to develop counting skills and learn numbers. They will also practice letter and sounds using fun and interactive games. Lastly, my students will enjoy digital books online!
