This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My preschool students are in need of new pots, pans, and serving utensils for our dramatic play kitchen center. My students love to play in the kitchen and play pretend restaurant. They love to stir in the pots and make soup. However, our current pots and pans are falling apart and the handles have broken off after many years of use.

It would bring great joy to my students to have functioning pots, pans, and serving utensils to use in the kitchen center to pretend cook.

My students are also in need of a lacing set to help strengthen their fine motor development. The farm lacing set will go great with our upcoming farm unit we will be learning about in the spring.

Finally, the alphabet word work small group center would be great for my students to use during small group time to practice the letters and the letter sounds.
