This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

There was a big impact by COVID-19 and a lack of in person learning during the pandemic. The students who went virtual for all that time during the shutdown were not able to experience hands on learning and in person learning. The students had a lack of social encounters with peers and adults. By getting help with the new manipulatives for the classroom our students will get the experience in building fine motor skills and learn mathematical and learn concepts in a developmentally appropriate hands on way. This opportunity will give us the tools in the classroom physically to go towards our ECERS-3 rating in the near future. This will help the students and the classroom be successful in their educational journey.
