Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Every day my preschool students have the opportunity to look at and read books from our classroom library. However, their selection is limited. I have requested a variety of books that can be organized into themes and placed in the classroom library for my students to choose from. They will be able to individually choose a book of their choice and interest. They will be exposed to different themes and different genres of books. They will be able to explore the new books through picture walks and using beginning reading strategies. My students will also be able to relate their life experiences to that of the books and explore beyond.

By donating to this project, my preschool students will be able to go on a new journey each time they read a new book requested for their classroom library.

Their journey will open their eyes to new experiences outside of their world. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
