My Project
My students have studied Dr. Suess and are approaching the end of the year. This will make a difference in their learning because they are in the beginning stages of learning to read. This book signifies that they're graduating preschool and moving on to do big things. It will help them maintain their reading and letter recognition over the summer.
My goals for this project are to have these books funded so that I can give them something to remember from preschool.
With this being my first year teaching I am wanting to leave as big of an impact on my students as they have left on me. I want them to take these books home to read and have as a keepsake.
I teach an inclusion classroom that has kids with a variety of disabilities. My special education classroom has shown me many things this year. My students always try their best, have learned great social skills, and are ready for kindergarten whether that be a general education room or special class. My students have been kind and patient with me navigating my first year teaching. This book signifies their impact on the world and their impact on me. I plan to write an encouraging and individualized note in each one. This graduation book would mean a lot to me, the kids, and parents.
