My Project

Young children learn through play, using their senses to explore, create, and investigate. With open-ended toys and materials, children use their imagination, problem-solving skills, and curiosity to learn.

The goal of this project is to create learning centers where children can play cooperatively with their general education peers to increase their communication and social skills and their higher-level thinking skills.

My special needs students will benefit by playing with these materials, like the light box and balls in dishes, exploring and learning alongside their same-age peers in exciting learning centers that help to create lasting friendships and great learning opportunities.
