Preschool Engineering

Help me give my students four amazing hands on science, technology, engineering and math building sets. For example, the Kid K'NEX set for preschoolers gives students engineering experiences, allowing them to build structural models.

My Students

My students are three - and four - year - old preschoolers from all over the city of New Orleans.

My students have multiple exceptionalities; they have disabling conditions as well as gifted academic abilities.

My students need hands-on, accessible, adaptable materials they can use individually due to their health impairments and due to the pandemic.

My Project

Today's world requires our students to become well versed in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. Understanding concepts, building structures, and following directions are crucial skills.

My three and four year old students learn best through actual, hands on experiences.

These four STEM kits will help them build their own understanding. The Dinosaur Skeleton kit will help them learn about animal anatomy, and how to follow step by step directions. The K'NEX kit has 12 different examples of structural buildings, and allows students to imagine even more, and build their own inventions.
