Preschool Distance Learning Materials including Playdough and Headphones

Help me give my students the supplies they need to make their at home distance learning as hands-on as possible by having real items like playdough in their hands.

My Students

My 4 and 5 year old students teach me every day. They are happy to discover things on their own with manipulatives, dramatic play, and self-correcting learning games and puzzles. Large and small group learning, large motor activities, sensory stations and music are integrated into our daily schedule to help children learn.

We have started the school year distance learning and are building relationships and learning in a way that is new to all of us.

An advantage to learning this way is the daily communication we have with all families. We are working to provide the same types of learning materials and experiences at home that our students have at school.

Our program in located in a preschool through fifth grade elementary school. All of the preschool students are eligible for educational benefits because our program is income-based. We have a full service staff who help families with a variety of things such as locating stable housing. My Project

We are doing Distance Learning right now in our school district. We are fortunate to be able to have all of our students be able to engage in learning synchronously with us using some of the materials that are the same as the materials that the teachers are using online. Our students are able to build and count using the blocks and counting materials they received in their original learning materials kit. We are looking for ways to extend our learning using playdough for sensory learning and to practice making letters and shapes in a 3 dementional way.
