This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Children between the ages of 3-5 years need opportunities to write and draw in the classroom. Children often do not have opportunities to practice writing at home and need practice in order to master writing for Kindergarten.

Preschoolers who see older kids or adults write begin to see that writing has a purpose and they will want to try it.

Teachers and adults can provide lots of writing materials — paper, pens, pencils, crayons, markers, and drawing tablets.

Please help me give my students more dry-erase markers and erasers to practice writing their letters and their name! We also need more soap to keep their tiny hands clean and sanitary for school!
