This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My classroom is full of budding artists and musicians! My children need more exposure to the arts by exploring musical instruments, mixing colors, and creating art with different mediums.

During the preschool years, many children show tremendous growth in their creative/performing art abilities.

Teachers and caregivers can support their growth by planning activities that encourage preschoolers developing art skills.

The materials I am requesting consist of a steel tongue drum, ribbon dancers, paints, scissors, art pallets, and fingerprinting paper. Due to budget cuts, I am not able to ask for these materials from my School. With your support, my children can have access to art/writing materials that will promote their fine motor and creative art development.
