This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I currently co-teach in a preschool classroom, at a Tier-2 school in Hartford, CT. These children are diverse learners and love to explore the environment around them. Please help me give my excellent, preschool students books about letters and numbers and flashcards!

Preschool children are required to be able to recognize all 26 letters of the alphabet, and letter sounds, and count to 20 before entering kindergarten.

The preschool curriculum exposes children to letters, numbers, shapes, and science/math. My children learn in different ways and also speak more than one language. I want to be sure my children are adequately prepared for the Kindergarten curriculum next year. Please help my classroom by giving to my project! These children will benefit significantly from having books about letters/numbers and number flashcards to practice or read at home!
