Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The preschool children are between the ages of three to five years.
I teach bright, happy, inquisitive children who are eager to learn about the world around them.
They love to draw, read books, and explore the math and science areas. I have been fortunate to have so many wonderful children over the years.
My Project
Young children between the ages of 3-5 years need to be exposed to a variety of books before they enter Kindergarten! Children enjoy reading books that have characters that look and think similar to them. As teachers, it is important for our classroom to have a variety of books that focus on characters children can relate to!
Some of the best multicultural books show people from diverse groups playing and working together, solving problems, and overcoming obstacles.
With your contribution, our classroom can have beautiful and engaging books to help children learn and grow.
This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
