Help me give my students an incubator to help us hatch baby chicks!
FULLY FUNDED! Mrs. Green's classroom raised $382

My Project
I have 18 very curious and enthusiastic four year olds in my classroom. My students are low poverty and at risk. They are full of questions and love to learn about the world around them. This project would allow my students to see the life cycle firsthand.
Last year, I was lucky enough to borrow an incubator from a fellow teacher and hatch baby chicks with my class.
We were able to create some amazing memories. Students love learning about what is happening inside of the eggs and then watching the chicks hatch. It is a memory that will stay with them for years to come. Projects like this foster a child's curiosity and love for learning and nature.
With this project I'll be able to have my own incubator to create these memories for years to come with my students. I have also included a camera so that I am able to livestream the hatching process once it begins.
