My students have had a real hard time during this pandemic. Teaching 3 & 4 year olds with disabilities is tough, but with coronavirus and distant learning has been even more of a challenge. I have fantastic families in my classroom, and each one is struggling with their child(ren) at home.
My Project
This pandemic has been extremely stressful on us all. I try to help my parents out as much as I can with their child, but I am limited due to distance.
This distance learning project will allow me to bring a part of my preschool class inside of my students homes.
These backpacks are filled with many different hand-on activities for my students to work on at home. From counting objects to sorting, letter identification to rhyming, and even gross motor activities. The skills that have been taught prior will be reinforced by these activities. There is also a 3-month calendar for parents with daily lessons for them to work on with their child.
