Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Many of my students come from low-income households and single-parent households, some have jobs after school and have been caring for their siblings from a young age. I would like to provide basic hygiene needs, Stop the Bleed training and supplies, and healthy snacks for my growing high school students.
My goal is to have the Stop The Bleed Kit readily available in each classroom in my school.
I have trained my staff and students on the Stop The Bleed preparedness in case of emergency arises.
Through your generous donations, I will be able to offer my students sanitary products, healthy snacks to get them through a long school day, and basic skills to stop bleeding in case of an emergency. I would like to be able to do this for my current as well as my future students.
