Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
The first few weeks of school lay the foundation for a successful year. My goal is to create a welcoming, organized, and engaging classroom environment that helps every student feel valued and ready to learn.
With your support, I’m seeking materials that will help set the stage for a smooth start to the school year: tennis balls for a quieter classroom during transitions, nice bulletin board sets to create a cheerful and informative space, individual pencil boxes to promote personal responsibility and organization, and name tags to help us build a strong, respectful classroom community.
These supplies will have a huge impact—helping students feel a sense of ownership, belonging, and pride in our classroom. When students walk into a space that’s prepared just for them, they feel safe, supported, and ready to thrive.
