This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We are gearing up for the LEAP! I know what I need to prepare my students -- practice tests in accordance with LADOE guidelines for rigor and document analysis. This TPT giftcard will go towards building our library of testing resources.
My students, however, need something different!
My students requested a goody bag with pencils, snacks, and drinks so that they can focus on their test and be comfortable. The list we created includes fruit snacks and chocolate, as well as juice, hard candy, and mints. These snacks will remind them that they have a community behind them as they take on this high-stakes test.
