Preparing for Online Learning While Building a Classroom of Unity

My Students
Second graders are the best age to teach! They are independent enough to work creatively on their own, yet they still yearn to learn from and please their teacher!
Our school community has a mix of stay at home moms and parents who both work.
Our school isn't ethnically diverse, but we do have a few ethnicities in our school. For the most part we have families who are engaged in their child's education goals. I want to give them a year of opportunity and growth.
My Project
The whiteboards will be used for both online and in class instruction. Having children each have their own board in their desks will help cut down on germs. The TPT Gift card will be used for virtual and in class learning. I will be using Google Classroom for online learning if classrooms end up closing for a time. I will also use Teacher Pay Teachers for added instructional learning.
I am wanting to create a classroom environment where students feel safe and accepted.
Having a few diverse picture books will help enrich, teach and show students the world around them.
