My Project
This project is designed to spark a student's interest in growing their own food. The students are provided seeds that have travelled to outer space and back with our astronauts! Students will be able to plant, nurture, and hopefully harvest their own produce.
The students will be able to compare the progress of their "space seeds" with seeds that have not left our planet. This is a semester long progress, that gets students out of the classroom and into the greenhouse. This hands-on project covers aspects of horticulture with a futuristic twist.
