Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Teaching 7th graders is a truly rewarding experience. At the beginning of the school year, they often arrive feeling shy and uncertain, but by the end, they blossom into confident and self-assured individuals. As I wrap the year, witnessing their growth and self-expression reaffirms that every challenging day is worth it.
Supporting my students from the very start of the school year is a priority for me.
By helping them feel prepared and organized, I aim to build their confidence and sense of capability.
Providing essential materials—such as folders, pens, and tape—is key to keeping their work organized and accessible. Tools like colored construction paper and copy paper also help differentiate assignments, allowing students to stay focused, engaged, and prepared to succeed.
