This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As we wrap up a wonderful school year, we're already looking ahead and preparing for the next one. A well-organized and inviting classroom helps set the stage for student success, and we're hoping to gather a few key materials now so we’re ready to start strong in the fall.

We are requesting materials that will help us create a classroom where every student feels seen and valued.

So it is about more than just organization—it's about equity, inclusion, and representation. With tools like colored pencils, skin colored markers, a laminator, and cardstock we’ll build durable, engaging visuals that reflect the cultures, languages, and identities of our students.

These resources will allow us to design a space where diversity is not only acknowledged but celebrated. Calming lighting and thoughtfully designed visuals will support students’ well-being and sense of belonging, helping all learners feel safe and ready to thrive.
