This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the year begins wrapping up, teachers are already thinking about what we will need for next year. As an Art Teacher supplies and how best to organize and store those supplies is a major concern.
I incorporate Art Stations to accomodate for a choice-based instructional model where my students are treated as "working artists" and the classroom is their "studio." This means that I need plenty of supplies and have a very organized system that includes ease of access and easy to clean up.
I am preparing for next year by rearranging some stations and adding bins to better accomodate for student access and clean up. The supplies listed is supplies always needed and used throughout the year for numerous projects. The paint pens are also a student requested item.
