My Project
I am requesting two Chromebooks to add to our current total of seven. My school has limited funds, being a school of choice. We have to share carts with the entire K-12 population. I would like to have enough for 1/3 of my class to be able to access Google Classroom each day, to complete assignments digitally.
There are 27 students who will benefit from being able to access educational apps that provide experiences only possible with technology.
As fourth-graders, they are expected to take district and state tests through digital mediums, but have limited access to practice the navigation stills necessary to become proficient. Being able to assign work and assess their skills is great practice for the future they face. This is the way that we communicate.
My students work so hard with paper and pencil. I want to make sure that they can transition to online platforms with ease. This helps me tremendously by maximizing my time in the collection of data, and it saves paper! Please consider funding my project.
