This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The sixth grade integrated, co-teaching class is comprised of thirty-four, hardworking students that are dedicated to their own academic success and to the success of the group as a whole. They come from a diverse range of cultural and socio-economic backgrounds, as well as academic functioning levels. The ICT class unites students with varied abilities and special needs with their general education peers in a nurturing, cooperative environment. They want to learn and they understand the value of hard work.
My Project
Ink for a printer is a hot commodity these days. As teachers, we often find ourselves trying to find ways to avoid printing the materials our students so desperately need. This is unfair to us and to our students.
One of the best methods of differentiation is through carefully selected materials.
This means that often we need to modify and print on the spot, which is so often nearly impossible because we are forced to conserve ink. Please help our students have access to the learning materials they need by donating to our ink fund. The ink will give students every opportunity to access materials.
