This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are driven, curious, and eager to excel in their AP courses, but they face significant challenges in organizing and preparing for the rigorous AP exams. The materials I’m requesting—3-ring binders, paper, ink, and dividers—are more than just supplies; they are essential tools that will transform their study habits and enhance their ability to tackle the exam format with confidence.

These binders will be the foundation of their academic journey, empowering my students to organize their knowledge, track their progress, and confidently conquer the challenges of the AP exams.

The dividers will help them categorize content by subject or unit, making it easier to review and reinforce their understanding. With paper and ink, they will be able to print out practice exams and annotated feedback, providing them with tangible resources to track their progress and focus on areas that need improvement.

My goal for this project is to ensure that every student has the organizational tools they need to succeed. By creating these tailored study kits, I aim to reduce the stress of exam preparation and help my students build the skills and confidence needed to excel on test day.

What makes my students special is their resilience and determination. Many of them are balancing demanding coursework with extracurricular activities, part-time jobs, and family responsibilities. Despite these challenges, they are committed to achieving their academic goals and securing a bright future. By supporting this project, you will be directly contributing to their success, helping them to overcome obstacles and reach their full potential.
