This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Pre-K students started their first year of school later than others due to having to wait for another Prek class to open up. With that being said we did not have much of a stock pile for art/crafting supplies and with the school year progressing our supplies are running low. Our students express a lot through art, drawings and crafting. The supplies such as construction paper, crayons, paint, etc that I am asking for help on acquiring for my classroom will give my students more chances to do more hands on projects through out the rest of the school year. We are constantly doing art work in the classroom and the students are always wanting to go straight to the art center during center time. All the supplies that will be donated will be greatly appreciated and used with smiles on our faces.
