My students need to get out of their seats and move along with these motivational materials... a parachute, movement scarves, rewards for good behavior, and a gong to signal "GREAT JOB!"

My Students
My elementary music students are talented, excited, and motivated by the arts! They love music, art, and drama, and are particularly excited by the new music room and art room at our school. We have a huge student body with approximately 1,200 kids. I teach students in PreK-grade 5 general education students, language learners, and many special education students. Families at our school come from many countries, including Bangladesh, Dominican Republic, Ghana, Mexico, China, India, & more... each individual student has something special to offer as far as culture and background. It is pretty amazing!
My Project
This is the first year I have taught PreK. Due to their tight schedule mandates, my music class has to fit into their required time slot of gross motor activities. The teachers still want their students to experience my music class, but the supplies that I have for these types of lessons are extremely limited. I know that the requested supplies will excite and motivate all of the little ones to participate in different types of gross motor lessons! The bright colors and music to go along with these supplies are beautiful and inspirational. I also would like to incorporate a treasure box into my PreK classes for students who go above and beyond. I think using the small gong to announce who gets to go to the treasure box will add a perfect touch!!! They will LOVE it!
