Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach excellent Pre-K students who are in an English Language learning environment. My students come from a low-income and high-needs community where it is often difficult to find educational resources. As a bilingual teacher, I continually research various methods to keep my bilingual students engaged and make my lessons interactive.

We are planning to establish a STEM center in our classroom this year, which will help students build their English vocabulary.

We need a table and chair set, a light box, and trays. The STEM center will be a crucial part of our science curriculum, building their background for future science careers and opportunities. These materials will help our students create lasting memories and spark their imagination through play. We cannot wait to see our student broaden their imagination and build friendships.
