My Students
My students are exceptional students who have disabilities. These sweet kids are funny, outgoing, smart, and just like you and me! They enjoy reading and being read to. They love learning about new things and are risk takers.
Every moment in our class is considered a learning moment.
We are constantly moving and going. My students keep me busy, but that just lets me know that they are learning and engaging. My sweet students appreciate everything that is given to them and are always thrilled to have new learning devices.
My Project
This is my second year teaching these sweet kiddos and our book shelf needs HELP. I inherited this classroom but did not inherit many books. I have bought books here and there but my students need more. 2 sets of books that I have selected are non-fiction and I feel it is very important for even the earliest reader to have access to non-fiction materials and learn to love every type of literature. I have also added a Pop-it book where the students can make up the story as they go, this will help facilitate language in the classroom. Language is very important in Pre-K.
More than half of students from low‑income households
