Pre-kindergarten is tough! My students are constantly on the go. They always strive to work together and help one another learn. I am so impressed with their willingness to take a chance and get involved in their learning. My students try their best with whatever we give them. I would like to be able to expose them to different types of learning to suit their needs. Each child wants to achieve their goals, it's my job to support them in meeting these goals. They are ready and waiting to soar to success! My school is a Title I school, with students of low-income families. We want to help all students achieve success.
My Project
My students need an art easel. Brushes, paint containers and kinetic sand in order to have a safe space to create and express themselves in. The easel will allow for an organized space in the classroom. The paint brushes will be colored coded with the brushes to match. This will leave the guess work out and help my students match their colors while creating. Kinetic sand adds another aspect to our sensory learning in art. With kinetic sand we are able to create and build with the ability to have a full hands on experience. No mess no fuss with kinetic sand it is ok to get your hands “dirty”!
