This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I am requesting mixed media wire-bound journals for my prek classroom. We will use the mixed media journals to create scrapbooks our our prek year. The children will add pictures they have drawn on the pages using markers, crayons and even watercolors because the paper will not leak through. I am also requesting scrapbooking paper so we can take pictures of them doing various activities and at classroom celebration and they can creatively add the pictures to the book. These scrapbooks will inspire creativity and hold memories of their prek year. The children will be sharpening their fine motor skills as they create their books.
