Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
We are the proud teachers of eighteen 3, 4, and 5 year old Prekindergarteners. Our classroom is an ICT setting, where 8 of our students have special needs. All of the students in our school qualify for free lunch as we teach in a high needs area. Our students love learning through play, and we try hard to give them opportunities to learn through exploration with various materials. Any donation that would help enhance our classroom environment would be greatly appreciated!
My Project
We know how important physical activity is for our young students development and want to help them build a strong foundation for a healthy and active life!
The ability to be physically active influences social well-being, mental health and is linked to children’s school performance.
Using this equipment our students will improve their coordination, balance, reflexes and endurance as well as their social and language skills as they navigate the equipment with other students.
This equipment would be great for our classroom because it can be easily carried to our outdoor play space or used indoors on days weather doesn't allow for outdoor play.
