Help me give my students a Stand-Up Magnetic Design Center, Turn Learn Magnetic Gears, and an Engineer-A-Coaster Activity Kit to explore engineering concepts.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students simply love to explore and play outdoors. They enjoy looking for and following squirrels; they love dancing while bubbles rise in the air all around them; and they absolutely love playing with sand and water. My students are curious and energetic learners!
Exploring is what they do best!
I have big plans for these materials. The Turn Learn Magnetic Gears will be introduced and explored first. My students will work on their motor skills as they attach and combine the colorful gears to the Stand-Up Magnetic Design Center. The sturdy gears are the perfect size for their little hands. These simple machines will get my little ones learning more about force. Next up will be the Engineer-A-Coaster Activity Kit. My students will have a blast problem-solving as they build with the magnetic tracks. Through trial and error, they will learn how to position the tracks to make the coaster work.
Your financial support will give my students the materials they need to learn in a fun and exciting way. Thank you for your consideration.
