Help me give my students 2 pregnant cats for dissection to provide them hands-on materials for Biology classes
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Zweig's classroom raised $290
This project is fully funded
My Students
My students are in a small rural public school. They are 10th grade biology students. Most, if not all live in tough poverty conditions. They are trying to learn biology in a school that finds it extremely difficult to find certified teachers to teach as well as funds for projects and has one of the lowest salaries for teachers in the state.
Most of my students have little or no plans for their futures.
We receive no funds/budget for supplies individually for teachers.
Our school is mostly reduced/free lunch students (at-risk, Title I) and the students are mostly minority and have many life challenges.
As we embark on touching the lives of these children with many needs, your donations become a part of something that should be considered priceless... touching the lives of children.
My students get excited about potential field trips and gamification of education. For many if not most of them, these things are not in their budget. We need help to make this a reality!
My Project
We have over 100 students and will try for just 2 cats to split among the classes to allow students hands-on materials to study life and all the organs of the body systems. Students will use them to learn where organs are comparatively in our own bodies and will be especially helpful to our current and nursing students.
By donating to our project, you will not only help to improve and increase student attention and focus, you will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement.
Donating to our project will help improve and increase student attention and focus. You will ultimately help to increase their academic achievement. This will do amazing things to get students engaged in their studies.
