Help me give my students the Learning Without Tears Mat Man Book Set, Learning Without Tears Wood Pieces Set, and the Giant Magnetic Letter Construction.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach 24 transitional kindergarteners. Most of them can cite the alphabet, but none can write the alphabet or numbers, yet. Mat Man letters along with the books will make learning pre-writing fun and easy. It gives them the visuals they need to grasp the concepts of letter and number formation.
My students will learn capital formations as they imitate me piece by piece.
The books will allow me to bring all of Mat Man's adventures to my classroom. The set comes with a Mat Man poster to help me teach children how to bring Mat Man to life. The magnetic letters will allow me to display what we are learning on the board as the students practice throughout the day.
