Pre-Kindergarten Indoor Gym!

Help me give my students , Pre-k of 60 an opportunity to have an amazing indoor play gym so that they can continue their gross motor development even when it rains.

My Students

My students are amazing. Although they are little, their personalities are mighty. They are extremely independent, smart, creative, funny, honest, loving three and four year old's, I have ever met. Their love for learning makes me feel magnificent. They continuously motivate me to find new and innovative ways to teach. My students are so animated, unique and active.

My Project

Little ones in Early Childhood need at least 60 minutes of gross motor play to help with their physical development. I would like to create an indoor gym for all 60 of our pre-kindergarten students. Although they go outside when weather permits, during increment weather it halts their opportunity to run, jump, climb, balance, and engage in other physical activities. When children have an opportunity to engage in gross motor play it allows them to engage in imaginative play, problem solving skills, critical thinking as well as risk taking skills.

The products I have selected will help my students foster all of those skills.

The Trampoline allows for students to jump. The Crawl and Climb Foam Play Set fosters climbing, crawling and sliding. This product is adjustable and students can create their own obstacle course. The Monkey Bars Climbing Tower gives children an opportunity to engage or develop risk taking skills. The Pure Fun Kids 360-Degree Quad Swivel Seesaw fosters collaboration in order for it work effectively.
