My Students

I am teaching Pre K in a NYC public school. I have 13 students. I am trying to help foster my students' expressive language, reading skills, problem solving skills and their love of discovering and asking questions. For many, this is their first school experience and it is the perfect opportunity to not only encourage my students to read books and talk about them, but also to help them build their confidence as speakers, listeners, learners, and explorers. However, this requires a lot of supplies and I would really appreciate your support in getting these. I want to continue to instill a love of learning and risk-taking that will last each of them a lifetime!

My Project

In Pre K we are working on so many different skills. These skills will not only help to get us ready for Kindergarten but for the rest of our academic career. The Mad Mattr Sensory Dough will help to build my students' hand strength which will help to improve their fine motor skills. The Find the Letter activity has so many possibilities! It will also help with their fine motor skills but also will improve their letter recognition, eye hand coordination and we can even introduce letter sounds. The materials I am requesting will really help to make my students ready for Kindergarten by using fun hands on activities that will continue their love of learning! Thank you for all of your support and for believing in the importance of Pre-K!
