My project needs a set of Lowercase and Uppercase Letter Builders, Spanish Alphabet Books, a Building Language Photo, a 12-Bin Storage Rack, hardwood Number Blocks, a Wipe Board, a letter Dough Cutters Bucket, a set of alphabet Charms, a set of Lace-A-Word Lowercase Beads, and Lace-A-Word Uppercase Beads.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
Would you like to have a positive impact in the life of my four year-old students? We would like to have your help; Pre K is the foundation for a successful academic life and I would like to build this basis as strong as they will need it. My students are learning to identify letters, read and write and I would like to make this experience as fun as possible. I am the only Pre K bilingual teacher at my school. My students come from low income families, as do the majority of the students from my school. There is not much money available to get all the things I would like to have for my students.
Since I am the only Pre-k Bilingual teacher I don't have any other bilingual teacher to share materials with. Also, Spanish materials are limited. My students are learning to write and identify letters and sounds, I would like to have as many materials as I can in order to make the learning experience exciting for my 4 year-old students. I think all these materials will be helpful in my students' learning process.
I would like to have a variety of materials for my students to play with. During the language arts block and workstations I would like to give my students as many opportunities as I can to practice what they have learned in class. I would like to have 11 different activities at the same time that let my student work in pairs and reinforce the concepts I have taught in class. I would like to have a set of lowercase and uppercase Letter Builders to help them "build" the letters of the alphabet. The dough letters cutters will develop their fine motor skills and will promote letter recognition and the alphabet maze and lace a word lowercase and uppercase will reinforce ABC order. I would like alphabet charms to give each student letters that they are struggling with and hardwood numbers to count letters in high frequency words. I also need Spanish Alphabet Books and Building Language Photo set to promote reading and letter recognition. The Write & Wipe Lapboard Erasers and board will enhance free writing and a 12-Bin Storage Rack to help them store and organize some materials so it will be easier for them to find.
I would like to have these materials to reinforce and enhance students learning on a daily basis; also, I would use them as reinforcement and enrichment in the learning centers. You will help me to teach, reinforce and re-teach writing and reading concepts to my students and you will be part in their learning process by giving them the opportunity to learn while having fun.
