My Students

My pre-k classroom is a vibrant, hands-on learning environment where students can explore and become life-long learners. I want to keep them in engaged. This is their very first year of school, and I love to set their expectations high. I have 18 wonderful, fun, loving pre-k students, who are learning in two languages, English and Spanish. I have 6 boys and 12 girls. They come to school ready to learn each day. They are quick to ask questions, participate and jump in to explore and discover. They will learn to discover, explore with confidence and develop a lifetime love of learning.

My Project

My students absolutely love art! I don't think I have ever had a class where almost every student engages in art projects every single day during center time! Unfortunately, the children have already gone through the majority of our art supplies. I am asking for various arts materials to create multicultural art, a variety of toys for our nursery, and a doll house to bring inclusion into the students learning and imaginative play. The children are excited and motivated to turn our dramatic area into a nursery and a bubble machine to use for our family fun day. Children love to blowing and chasing bubbles.

Budgeting constraints limit what we can do.

We will learn all about the cycle of the butterfly. We will engage in hands-on learning by observing live insects in our classroom. We will focus on how insects live, where they live, what makes them unique, and how they affect our environment.

We would greatly appreciate if you would donate to this project of inclusion. This project is essential to the learning of social skills and social studies. Thank you!
