I teach eighteen happy Pre-kindergarten students at the largest elementary school in my state. I have a very diverse group of students. For many of my students, this is their first school experience. They are a very kind and loving group of students. They enjoy working together to solve problems. My students are eager to learn new things and to help others. I look forward to helping them develop listening and pre-reading skills. I hope to inspire my students to love school and books.
My Project
Your donation will give my class story telling puppets and props. These materials will help keep my students engaged during story time. They will also use the materials during center time and small group. They will have the opportunity to retell the story by themselves or with a friend. I also included the nursery rhyme set. Think back to when you where little- most of us were thought nursery rhymes. I would love to pass on this tradition with hands-on materials to help paint a picture of the nursery rhyme they are learning. Thank you for helping me teach tomorrow's leaders.
