My students need a light table to enhance literacy, math, and writing skills in a fun and playful way. Since light tables are very expensive, I would like materials so I can create them.

it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
I have a classroom of adorable 4-year-olds eager and curious about the world around them. The children are involved in many activities throughout the day.
For example, the children engage with their peers in choice time center activities that involve many opportunities for hands-on learning, growing, and socializing.
I would like the opportunity to engage my students more, as they learn through play every day.

My Project
I am asking for materials that I will need to create light tables for the different centers in my Pre-K classroom. A light table can be used to enhance literacy, math, and writing skills in a fun and playful ways. Children are naturally drawn to the gentle glow of the light table and will stay there for long periods of time, which is great for stretching those budding attention spans. A light table is a versatile tool that can be used for everything from open-ended play experiences to arts and crafts, to teaching academic concepts, and more! When you infuse your light table center with opportunities for science, math, literacy, and writing, it quickly becomes a powerhouse of learning. If you donate to my project, you will be giving me the opportunity to make my centers more engaging and inviting. You will be giving me the opportunity to teach my students math, literacy, art, and science in a different, more fun way, thus affecting their school lives and improving it for the better.
