Pre-K Scholars Discover Science Through Hands-On Centers!
My students need a science kit to provide hands-on science center activities to develop their love of science and scientific skills and knowledge.

My Students
Do you remember the excitement of your first hands-on science experiment? My students have not yet discovered the joy of exploring scientific concepts, but they have also not yet had the pleasure of manipulating materials in a science center.
I have a class of 23 enthusiastic, curious and motivated special Pre-K friends.
These treasures attend a public school in a high poverty area. Over 95% of them qualify for free lunch and many of them live in single parent households where their caregivers are supporting a family on a very limited income. Because so many of my children's families live below the poverty line, it is not uncommon for students to have very few books, toys, and tools for scientific inquiry at home. My hope is to gather the monetary support to give these students the developmentally appropriate hands-on learning experiences that they deserve.
My Project
I am requesting a classroom science kit for young learners. Hands-on science learning centers will enable my students to explore a variety of scientific topics. These materials will enable my students to have meaningful and developmentally appropriate scientific experiences. Students will learn how to carry out scientific inquiries and experiments and develop a passionate love of science.
These materials will help give my students the opportunity to fall in love with science!
Developing a passion for science will help my students be the best students they can be and have the best lives they can imagine by providing them with engaging and meaningful learning experiences. I know that my students are bright enough to achieve any endeavor in Pre-K or in life if they are provided the excellent education they deserve. Please help my students excel in science.
