Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have 10 different centers operating in my Pre-K classroom daily. Part of keeping the attention of 3 and 4-year-olds is to rotate items in and out of each center. This motivates the kids to visit and explore new activities. This project will upgrade 6 of the current centers.
I have had an amazing year with my students, and as the year winds down and spring fever kicks in, it is vital to continue to provide them with new and exciting learning experiences.
I truly think these items will complement the current centers. The sand center goes through sand much faster than you would ever imagine. So it is in need of more sand. The science center needs a new microscope as our old one broke this year. We received a brand new oven for the classroom but now it needs some materials for baking. The block people will help make playtime T the block center more engaging and the crystal building blocks can be used at the light table and it toys and games.
