I am so excited to begin teaching pre-k for the first time this year! I have not had a chance to meet my students yet this year, but these little people sure do have a lot of big experiences ahead of them! I cannot wait to meet them and embark on a fun and adventurous year together!
My Project
Printing is often a vital part of a classroom, especially a pre-k room. In a classroom full of exploration and hands-on learning through play, my students will need access to expanding their print rich environment.
This printer will help my students explore through technology.
As children born during a technological era, they are already adept in utilizing technology in their daily lives. Our new printer will allow the children to print photos of themselves, their families and activities created and displayed in the classroom. It will allow them to print out images of topics they are interested in as well.
Family connections and communication are a vital part of running a successful pre-k class. The printer will allow me to supply families with our monthly newsletter, materials needed, new vocabulary and photos in order to connect and deepen a sense of community in the classroom.
