Pre-K presents: Breast Cancer Awareness Luncheon and Run

Help me give my students a chance to promote Breast Cancer Awareness and honor survivors and our angels by helping us purchase gifts and our event supplies.

My Project

My Pre-K class is hosting a Pre-K presents: Breast Cancer Awareness Activity and Run on October 25, 2024 in support of our breast cancer survivors and honoring those who are no longer with us.

Our event will consist of a luncheon first, followed by crafting ribbons to place on our honor tree.

Each of our guest will be paired with one of our twenty students during our event.

This is a way for my little ones to learn about being helpful in the community by doing small things to shed light on a subject that is so big. They are so loving and they will be able to entertain our guests with questions and their little stories while making lasting memories.

Next, we will have a paint and juice activity where guests and students will paint pre-printed pictures on the canvases that we will need. Next we will present the gifts to the honorees that we are also seeking help in receiving.

The last part of our event is the run! My students will participate in an obstacle course run while wearing different shades of pink shirts. The students will compete with each other by completing several small road blocks to get to the finish line and at the end they will all receive medals for their team spirit and support.

Our event is to not only support our survivors but to show love to the ones that have passed on and to offer support to their families and to let them know that we are still here for them. We are hoping that by hosting this event that we will be able to take their minds off of their reality for a moment and bring a smile to their faces as we celebrate them and show support.
