My Students

In my class, I believe in education through play. These supplies will allow my students to express themselves and their learning through creativity and play.

My students come from many diverse backgrounds and speak many different languages but they all share a love for learning.

Our school is of the highest poverty level with over 90% of our students eligible for free lunch. They are enthusiastic about learning and love to explore and show what they know through play and creativity. Art supplies will allow all of my students, including my non-English speakers, to express their thoughts and feelings through art.

My Project

Our Pre-Kindergarten students love to play! So, why not strengthen their fine motor, social, language, STEM and math skills at the same time? Our classroom Discovery Center allow our students to do just that! With these materials, students will be exploring letters, numbers and science at our Sand and Water Table while honing their social skills.

With the proper materials for our Discovery Center, we can further enrich our student's literacy, math and STEM education while they're having fun!

Our Discovery Center allows students to use their hands to "dig" into learning while strengthening their fine motor and social skills.
