My Students

Our students are creative, thoughtful, and full of questions! They absolutely love hands-on, active, and engaging projects that allow them to think outside the box to find solutions! They come to school each day ready to try new things and take brave chances in order to grow both personally and academically. Truly, they are our inspiration!

Our school is located in West Harlem (Title I district).

Our student population is diverse and includes Hispanic, African American, Black, Caucasian, Asian (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian), Biracial, ENL (English as a New Language), and IEP (Individualized Education Program) students. Diversity within our school is something we embrace and nurture.

My Project

Two of the many things you go through very quickly in a Pre-K classroom includes construction paper and dot markers. We have almost run out and need more materials for the upcoming school year! We are kindly asking you to help us purchase these materials that will help make our art center complete! Students love dot markers as they are a fun and easy way to create their own works of art as they continue to develop their fine motor skills. We have also requested bins for their cubbies so they can properly store their bed sheets for nap time.

With these materials, you will help our students to be innovative and creative in my Pre-K classroom.
