My Students

My pre-K scholars are amazing! They are the only full day class in our school. They are eager to learn and love being in school. Our school is very diverse and takes pride in welcoming and engaging all scholars and families. We are committed to creating a school where kids feel safe, loved, and motivated.

As a school, we take pride in creating an environment where we celebrate diversity, discuss and study racial equity, and "inspire all scholars to reach high levels of social and academic achievement, and to become future leaders through a collaborative system of support" (our school's mission statement).

My Project

My scholars are learning to keep their materials organized. The envelopes and storage bags will help our scholars store their work such as name puzzles and artwork they have cut out.

We work hard together as a class to keep our room clean, healthy, and organized.

My scholars need to have cleaning wipes so we can clean our tables daily. When we clean off our germs, we are healthy, and then get to stay in school! We regularly use lotion and it is helpful to have it in class so we do have to leave to go to the nurse.

The white white board, clips, and dry erase pockets are for our new "I can..." board. We will read every day together, our "I can..." statements that tell us what we will be learning for the day. It is helpful for me as the teacher, the scholars, and anyone who visits to our room. Our objectives will be clearly written and displayed!

All of these materials we use regularly. We look forward to using our new large bins, to organize materials for each area of study. We like to work together to stay organized. The scholars will be able to find a bin and get out materials connected to our area of study. I know my scholars will feel excited to help keep our room organized and clean. They love to be little helpers!
